Ladder Operation from the Pulpit

All turntable ladder movements are controlled from the main operator's console which is mounted on the turntable turret.

Pictured are the control panel and the operator's seat.

The control levers and switches are within easy reach and all instruments can be seen by the operator.

Below is a more direct view of the controls, whilst the photo on the bottom right shows the AFB indicator which provides all relevant ladder control information.
