Appliance Exterior Roof Stowage - 231 Appliance

  • On the top of Thorndon 231 are mounted the following:

  • Angus 464 ladder (requires four men to operate)
  • Two storey wooden extension ladder (three men required)
  • 1st floor ladder (one man operation)
  • Fixed deck monitor (fed directly from the pump)
  • Ground monitor (supplied by two 70mm hoselines)
  • Four lengths of 150mm hard suction (used when drafting from open water)
  • Shovel, broom and squeegee
